Dr. Jan Treybig is a graduate of Texas A&M University (B.S. Bio-Medical Science, B.S. Veterinary Science, D.V.M. Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine), holds certificates in Veterinary Acupuncture and practices Orthopedic Manipulation. Dr. Treybig began her veterinary career in 1979, has worked in the Arlington area since 1985, and opened the South Cooper Animal Hospital in 1994, where she enjoys being a veterinarian in both dogs and cats.
Born and raised in Houston, Dr. Treybig’s love for animals began at an early age when a veterinarian visited her parent’s acreage to care for a horse. After watching the veterinarian care for the animal, she thought, “that’s what I want to do!” Dr. Treybig now dedicates her practice to compassionately caring for pets with client education in mind. Dr. Treybig and the staff at South Cooper Animal Hospital, all enjoy making clients and their pets a priority.
In her spare time, Dr. Treybig loves to travel, take photographs, is an outdoor enthusiast, and loves making pesto fresh from her garden.
